Step 2: Secure Collection

We will discuss the best collection date and time with you so that you can continue throughout your day without being hindered by waiting at the location all day.

The time given will be the time that we arrive at the latest.

Step 3: Logging

Once the assets have been received, we will transport them back to our warehouse and every item will be logged with a unique ID and a full asset report will be produced.

Step 4: Asset Testing

All assets are cleaned, detagged, visually inspected for safety standards as well as cosmetic standards.

A full diagnostic check is done on the assets by fully DBS checked, professional technicians.

Step 5: Data Sanitisation

If required, we will perform a full data sanitisation process so that all data bearing assets are 100% wiped using the Blancco erasure software.

Step 6: Reuse

We remarket and redeploy all assets into sectors like education and data systems to enable long-term and effective reuse

Step 7: Eco Friendly Recycling

We recycle unused assets ensuring minimal eco impact as we have the capability to break the assets down to the core and rebuild them back up into new and different assets ready for reuse.

Step 8: Reconditioning

Our reconditioning process ensures that minimal assets are being sent off to refineries.

Refineries will melt the assets down for the precious metals such as gold or silver.

Where as at XUM, we prefer to recondition the assets so that they can get used for an even longer, extended period of time. Essentially making them like new.

Step 9: Reporting

We will provide you with the full report of each asset that we have collected from you.

We believe in full transparency, nothing is hidden & we even offer competitive rebates if you are eligible for one.

Step 10: Second Engagement

We will reach out to you to ensure that you are 100% happy with the serivce that we have provided as well as sending you a digital copy of the Waste Transfer Note and Receipt for collection

Step 11: Analysis

We will take onboard all feedback provided so we can analyse it to ensure that we can meet the demands of your needs as well as the needs for sustainable and efficient IT Asset Disposal.

Step 12: Certification

Following up from everything else that we provide, we will provide you with the certificates of data removal/destruction if you have requested this service.
